Super Snack Nuggets


One thing I love: Cramming as many super foods and nutrients into a recipe as possible.

Another thing I love: Great tasting snacks.

One other thing I love: Super foods + Serious Nutrients + Great taste.

The aforementioned equation gives a result of  SYNERGY.

What I have just described are the core elements of my super snack nuggets. I recently attended a Gala to raise money for the Safehaven Project for Community Living, an organization that provides support to children with multiple disabilities and complex medical needs. I operated the healthy food station at this event. I wanted to provide a snack that everyone would enjoy and I also wanted to surprise them with the fact that they are extremely healthy. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. These bad boys are delicious!


What's so super about these lil' nuggets?


Perhaps the greatest aspect of these nuggets are that they will keep your blood sugar stable! They have great healthy fats, proteins and have low levels of natural sugar from raw honey. These are the perfect mid-day snack that are easy to pack on the go and are completely made from REAL foods.

I strongly urge you to try this recipe out. It's super easy, super tasty and super healthy (okay, I'll stop using the word super!).

Super Snack Nuggets


  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower butter
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup hemp hearts
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut

method of preparation:

This method is quick—easy peasy!

Combine ingredients into food processor or bowl and mix.

Form mixture into nugget sized balls.

Refrigerate balls for half an hour.
